Description

There have been significant changes to both the Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drug sectors this year. Making sure people experiencing homelessness can get the assistance they need within these new systems is critical.

This forum will bring SHS workers together with representatives from Mental Health and AOD organisations tasked with regional intake, support and local area coordination to discuss how best to support clients accessing, waiting for, or receiving support and treatment. It is an opportunity for workers to hear more abour how the can facilitate access, and support consumers through these new systems. It will also provide a forum to discuss service gaps that have been identified in regions, and how the SHS can work with the new AoD and Mental Health catchment planning organisations to bridge these gaps.
